San Antonio's own Blue hole! Long believed to be the headwaters of the San Antonio River, the springs and the surrounding 50 acres make up the Headwaters Sanctuary and nature preserve run by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.

Join EAA Education staff as we hike and explore this natural wonder in the heart of the city. This event kicks off at the Edwards Aquifer Authority located at 900 E. Quincy, San Antonio, TX 78215 where a bus will transport the group to the Headwaters. Please wear closed toe walking shoes and be prepared to spend the morning outdoors. The trip runs from 8:30am to 11:30am.
